Join us in front of the American Family Planning Abortion Facility this Wednesday evening, September 29th, at 7 PM, for a candlelight vigil.
American Family Planning is located at 6770 North 9th Avenue in Pensacola.
Tonight, Monday, September 27th at 6:30 PM at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church there will be an amazing pro-life event you will not want to miss! Come and join us for XLT (Exalt) a praise and worship event for LIFE. The reflection will be given by Ernie and Mary Beth, Lay Missionaries of the Gospel of Life and Coordinators of the local 40 Days for Life Campaign. There will be Eucharistic Adoration and music.
Prior to the start of this Fall’s 40 Days for Life Campaign we kept praying this prayer, “Lord, send laborers for your harvest.” Wow! Has he indeed answered that prayer here in Pensacola. Since Wednesday, we have had at least 12 or more hours of coverage at both Pensacola abortion facilities! Praise God! The harvest has indeed been plentiful. This is a first for our local campaign. We have never covered both abortion facilities before. So far, people and churches have been responding to the call, the call for several churches to take a “Day to Pray.” We will continue to pray this perpetual prayer, “Lord, send laborers for your harvest.”
Those that stood witness yesterday, Friday, were able to see God’s grace at work. Two mothers chose life. Around 10 AM, member’s from St. Sylvester’s were praying and they saw a couple drive into the abortion facility on 9th Avenue. They saw the group in prayer and turned around and left. Praise be to God!
The other miracle witnessed by St. Sylvester’s vigil participants yesterday, occurred when a local business owner complained to the 9th Avenue abortion facility that somebody parked in her business parking lot. When the police viewed the sign-in book, the young woman who owned the vehicle, signed in a second driver. The police called for that driver, but the driver was not present. Since the young woman was going to receive anesthesia and she did not have a second driver as listed on the log in book, she could not stay to have the abortion. She was made to leave by the police prior to having an abortion! Another save! Thank you Jesus for answering all our prayers! May everyone reading this message see the need for prayer in front of abortion facilities and answer God’s call! Go to the Vigil Schedule to schedule as much time as you can give over the next 36 days. Just go and God does the rest.
Let’s reflect upon the wedding at Cana for a moment. Jesus asked people, like you and I, to bring water to him and once the people responded to his request, he turned that water into wine! He performed the miracle. So too, he is performing miracles in Pensacola and throughout the world, when we answer his call to pray for the least of these in front of abortion clinics. We do what he asks, and he provides the miracles! Go in faith my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
40 Days for Life begins tomorrow, Wednesday, September 22nd. 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting begin as we pray for an end to abortion in Pensacola. Join us for a candlelight vigil tomorrow evening (September 22nd) from 7 PM until 8 PM in front of the 9th Avenue abortion facility (6770 North 9th Avenue). God has many more miracles for us to witness.
Since 2007, when we began 40 Days for Life, we have witnessed a 33% drop in the number of abortions in Pensacola. We have been witness to well over 30 turn-a-rounds, one abortion facility worker quit, twenty women, men, and others affected by abortion find healing after abortion, the birth of a baby boy whose mother chose life during last spring’s 40 Days for Life campaign (the mother has just volunteered to pray two hours a week during this fall’s 40 Days for Life), and finally the closure of the Community Health Care Center of Pensacola. After reading all these miracles, it is very clear that God has truly blessed 40 Days for Life and his constant grace is sure to bless our community again this fall.

In closing…
Why are we involved in this pro-life movement, this movement of love and mercy? Because we BELIEVE that there is an injustice taking place in this nation. An injustice that takes the lives of the unborn and robs parents of the joy, the “gift” of a child brings. The gift of God’s creation. Lord, let us be a light unto this world of darkness as we call on your grace through prayer and fasting to end the injustice of abortion.
Lord send laborers for your harvest, to save the lives of the innocent unborn. Amen.
Wow! What an amazing story. Watch this. If it moves you like it moved me, then we should have a lot of hours filled in front of Pensacola’s two abortion facilities.
